Programme in short

This undergraduate studies program in one year welcomes international students who have completed two years of design studies and wish to obtain a French Diploma, recognized by the French Ministry of Higher Education. This diploma is called DN MADE: National Diploma in Fine Art and Design.

L’École de design Nantes Atlantique offers 3 different specialities:

• Digital Media Design, specifically tailored for students with an academic background in Graphic Design, UI/UX Design or Multimedia Design.
• Industrial Design, specifically tailored for students with an academic background in Product Design or Industrial Design.
• Interior Design, specifically tailored for students with an academic background in Space Design, Interior Design or Scenography.

Throughout the year, the student develops a personal design project, supported by academic, creative, and technical input: generic courses, cross-disciplinary classes (drawing, sketching, technology and materials, digital tools) and professional courses (workshops in video, motion design, UI design, model making, prototyping).

By combining theory and practice, this program gives the student the tools to define their design identity and prepare for the next academic or professional step.
